In response to this need, the LIBRA Harness offers a modular approach with distinct components that can be used independently or in sync, allowing for a smart, secure, and rapid response to various operational needs.

The LIBRA Harness features a distinctive design that aim to preserves the operator's muscle memory and does not disrupt established procedures and training, regardless of whether the chosen configuration is the belt or harness.

KEY POINTS

SAFETY

Operator safety is our top priority. BLACKFOLIUM works with leading testing and certification labs to ensure that the LIBRA Harness meets both European and international safety standards. The product is EN 12277 and UIAA 105 certified and carries the CE mark.

ERGONOMICS

The design of the LIBRA Harness goes beyond simply attaching leg loops to a belt. Using advanced 3D modeling techniques, the harness’s shape has been optimized to follow anatomical contours, distributing weight evenly over larger surfaces and minimizing pressure points. At the back, the belt widens to 60 mm, providing enhanced support for larger, heavier pouches and accessories typically worn on the rear.

SPEED

Putting on a traditional harness over a tactical belt can take around two minutes, as it requires properly orienting each strap: a challenging task, especially in low-visibility conditions. With the LIBRA system the leg loops can be put on in few seconds, even without visibility.

COMFORT

For prolonged wear without hip fatigue, the inner belt is equipped with two pads positioned over the iliac crest. At the back, a plastic insert prevents the belt from bending at the rear belt loop. Both the pads and the insert can be easily removed for personalized adjustments.

READINESS

The Cordura® pouch provides a compact, convenient way to carry the leg loops, fitting easily into uniform pockets or attaching to gear with the included Velcro straps. This setup allows the leg loops to be accessed quickly without needing to stow the pouch afterward.
