Refund policy

If the Customer qualifies as a consumer under applicable consumer protection legislation, they have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without providing any reason and without incurring any penalty, pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Consumer Code, Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as amended where applicable by Directive (EU) 2023/2673, and the relevant national implementing legislation.

The withdrawal period expires 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the products.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify BLACKFOLIUM of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an explicit declaration sent before the withdrawal period expires.

The Customer may use this FORM indicating their intention to withdraw from the purchase contract. The notice must include the order number, the Customer's name and contact details, as well as the product(s) for which the right of withdrawal is being exercised.

Where applicable under applicable consumer protection legislation, for contracts concluded online, the Customer may also exercise the right of withdrawal through the dedicated online withdrawal function available on the Website. Once the withdrawal request has been submitted, BLACKFOLIUM will provide the Customer with a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium without undue delay.

Effects of Withdrawal

If the Customer withdraws from the contract in accordance with the above provisions, BLACKFOLIUM will refund all payments received from the Customer, net of product delivery costs, without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day BLACKFOLIUM was informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw from the contract.

BLACKFOLIUM reserves the right to withhold the refund until the returned products are received.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with the Customer. In any case, the Customer will not incur any fees as a result of this refund.

Return of Products

The Customer must return the products without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day on which they communicated their decision to withdraw from the contract.

The deadline is met if the Customer sends the products back before the 14-day return period expires.

The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the Customer, unless otherwise expressly indicated by BLACKFOLIUM or required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Return Policy

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

  • the right applies to products purchased in their entirety;
  • the products must be returned intact, unused, undamaged, and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging, complete with all accessories, tags, labels, packaging, and accompanying documentation;
  • the Customer is responsible for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products;
  • return shipments are the sole responsibility of the Customer until delivery to BLACKFOLIUM.

The right of withdrawal may be excluded or limited in the cases provided for by applicable law, including, but not limited to, products made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and that were opened after delivery, or other products that fall within the exceptions provided for in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code and the corresponding applicable consumer protection legislation.

International Customers

For consumers residing in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the right of withdrawal is recognized in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended where applicable by Directive (EU) 2023/2673, and the related national implementing provisions.

For consumers residing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, returns will be governed by this Return Policy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable under the laws of the Customer's country of residence.
